How can my sports hobby pay for itself?
Dancing is the way we express ourselves when words are insufficient. it is a way of moving that uses the body as an instrument of expression and communication. Through dance, we learn teamwork, focus, and improvisational skills. Dance also enables us to better understand ourselves and the world in which we live. Dance also enhances skills of perception, observation, and concentration.
People come together through dance. It provides entertainment for people of all ages, races, and backgrounds.
When I was little, maybe about five or six, my mother took me to dance at the community center for the first time. At the time, I had no idea that this small step in my life would be so important and that I would meet people there who I can still call “best friends” after more than ten years.
Even if the whole world is falling apart, after a few seconds of conversation we are in front of the community center, where we dance.
Training is not always pleasant, sometimes you have to do stretches that make you feel like every muscle in you is about to break, or other times we stay up late and repeat the same dance movements twenty times at rehearsal. Dancing is a high-intensity workout, and it won’t be the same as going to the gym. Dancing can improve your balance and flexibility.
Dance is a passion in which man is lost in his own right, many dances show the ability of human beings.
Dancing is a feeling. It is not just a sequence of learned movements, dance tells a story. It tells our story. Dancing is the best way to stay fit. I have heard people say that dancing isn’t for everyone, but they couldn’t have been more wrong. It has been one of my favorite hobbies since I was a child. From the first dance, I danced in green sequined skirts, to today, when I go to international competitions and win them.
Dancing is great but can be expensive.
For a three-day Pro-Am Dance Competition, the budget is over $1,400. So I can go to the all competitions that I would If I had the financial possibility. The costumes, makeup, hotels, and competition taxes are the reason to spend a big part of my budget.
